The best part? This program is FREE and open to all residents of the City of Cleveland.
CHS staff is able to provide training on safe and proper use of tools, and guidance on home repair projects.
Eligibility and Policies:
Eligibility
- Open to all City of Cleveland residents
To borrow a tool, you must sign up for the program and provide the following:
- Photo ID
- Two current bills: telephone bill and another utility bill
- Two contact phone numbers
- Proof of homeownership (if applicable)
Tool Loan Policies
- Tools must be used in the City of Cleveland
- Must not be used with a for-profit enterprise
- Tools can be loaned for 1-5 days, depending on the tool
- First come, first serve
- Borrowers responsible for damage, lost or stolen property
